I heard a fable about us humans that I always come back to in my mind. There’s a myth that at the beginning of time each of our souls was smashed and scattered into tiny pieces- flung far and wide into the cosmos. That’s why some of us, those who dare, spend our lives searching for our selves and slowly but magnificently piece ourselves back together. Doesn’t it feel just like a great big mystery adventure you’re living, like Indiana Jones, or Romancing the Stone? Sometimes you’re so close to the treasure, sometimes you’re even clutching it on the top of a mountain, and sometimes you’re in the dark, in a cave, waiting out the night? Isn’t it just as thrilling and exhilrating as any Hollywood epic?

Could there be any greater adventure than finding yourself? Your soul chose to be here! You wanted in! You bought a ticket! You are on the ride of your life! It’s happening right now! Not later or yesterday or in half a year, now. Now is always the time, because later is never promised. Hold on to your hats! Don’t look back, don’t look down, just in-joy.
